Beyond the Filter: My Raw, Unfiltered Life (Typos and All)

The "System Override" to the "80/20 Balance"

The Hustle and the Flue Hangover

My morning started with my internal peptide, collagen, and glow protocol—done and locked in. I skipped the social media recording part; I’m not a morning person and had a 9 AM client to focus on. After that, I spent the rest of the morning with a "spark in my butt" updating my website.

Let’s be clear: there are spelling errors on the site. I’m severely dyslexic, it is what it is. I’m human, not a robot, and if my "crazy life" helps someone else, the typos are a small price to pay.

Before the gym, I had my 10 minutes of bliss with the NAD injection. If you know, you know—this stuff has changed everything for me. Then, the gym: post-flu recovery is no joke, but the kid decided to treat my calves and lower back like a punching bag. Navigating the autistic experience during a workout means sometimes explaining that a healing body needs a different pace than a peak-performance one. We pushed through, hit our limits, and got it done.

After the workout, we tried to grab healthy food at Lifetime. The manager was trying to teach a team member how to handle our specific requests, but they were having a tough time getting it to click. When I saw my bowl wasn't quite right, I told the manager, "It's okay, we're just going to go." No drama, no yelling—just choosing grace over stress.

The System Shutdown

After wrapping up my evening client, I sat down on my bed for what I thought was a quick breather. My brain had other plans and hit the "forced shutdown" button instantly. I didn't even get my contacts out or my retainers in; I just crashed in my clothes until the next morning. Sometimes, when you’re recovering from the flu and pushing through the grind, the body just mandates a hard reset.

The "Normal" Shift

Today was a complete 180—surprisingly normal. I got up, crushed my vitamin routine, and held it down at the office. Even the "pick-me-up" was balanced: I had my son bring me a Mountain Dew for that extra boost. I still crave it, and I stick to the 80/20 rule—if it makes the day better without throwing off the progress, I’m all for it.

The Big Move

I’m officially getting close to launching my memoir in short stories on Substack. People tell me my life is an inspiration, so it’s time to share these real-life events exactly as they happened.

Finished working at 6:00 PM. Dinner is done, jammies are on. Finally, a day that went according to plan. Goodnight, see you next time!
