I Just Wanted to Make It to Yoga

Yesterday started bright and early and I started packing. Then I had a nail appointment, then headed to my office where I had a couple clients while running back and forth packing up my apartment in between appointments and doing laundry for both home and office. Somewhere in the middle of all that I did a Reiki attunement, got Klara up and going, launched the email system, and announced everything on social media. Then I had a friend come help me get my Head Spa fixed and secured and moved more stones into my office. Some of those stones are so heavy. By the time the day was over I was so busy living life that I never even got around to posting my blog.

Today was NAD day, and after Sir Parker woke me up for his Monday morning hike, I got my Glow Getter in me and morning vlog loaded and headed off to get the A/C fixed in my car. I was sitting there hoping I wasn’t going to be late for my clients and the whole thing took forever and cost double what I expected. The good news is my car is a freezer again, so I guess there’s that.

Being late ended up working out just fine because my clients were a couple and their session was absolutely beautiful. There were tears, there was pain, there were releases, and both of them moved through some really deep stuff. Those are the sessions that remind me why I love what I do. On top of that, Miss Klara already has people on her books and I am so excited for her. Watching things start moving for her makes me so happy.

After work I was on my way to yoga. My GPS said 5:25 for a 5:30 class. Perfect. Then I got a couple miles down the road and it changed to 5:30. Then another mile and suddenly it said 5:37. Traffic was completely backed up. People were sitting through multiple light cycles just trying to get through intersections. I kept driving hoping it would change, but eventually I had to accept that there was no way I was making it. You can’t just walk into yoga seven minutes late. My heart hurt because I really wanted that class, but I pivoted and headed to Palm Beach Tan instead. Then I pivoted again and bought more bins and boxes because apparently that’s my entire personality right now.

Then I got home and was getting ready to go meet Klara to show her a few more things with the software and how everything operates in the room when I opened my apartment door and the fire alarms were going off in the hallway. So there I stood trying to figure out if somebody’s apartment was actually on fire or if somebody just got a little too ambitious cooking dinner. Eventually everything calmed down, I walked across the street, showed Klara what she needed to learn, and headed back home.

Then my dumbass realized I forgot to take the trash out.

So now I’m laying in bed eating Culver’s because I was craving a pretzel after the kind of day I’ve had. At this point I feel like I’ve earned the pretzel. Now it’s time to finish this blog, get it posted, and put my pretty little ass to bed because this mama is tired. Evan starts his Tuesday through Sunday work schedule again tomorrow night, so this is my last chance to catch up on some sleep before the chaos starts all over again.
