Leave My Demons & Camel Toe
Well… Monday and Tuesday have been a doozy, and now you know why there wasn’t a Weird Shit Blog Monday night. 😂
Both mornings started exactly how they’re supposed to. I got up, did my non-negotiable Glow Getter routine, threw on one of my new workout outfits, filmed my morning vlog, and got everything uploaded before heading out. Monday was also NAD+ day, which is one of my favorite days of the week. I only do my injections three days a week, but man… the energy boost is seriously next level every single time.
Now… speaking of keeping it real…
Apparently my body decided bloating was the vibe this week because I looked down and realized this cute new workout outfit came with the world’s biggest camel toe. 🤦🏼♀️😂
Did I quietly edit that part out?
Absolutely not.
I mentioned it right in my vlog because… that’s real life.
I’m human. You’re human. Bodies fluctuate. Hormones happen. Bloating happens. Sometimes your workout outfit betrays you, and sometimes you just laugh and keep moving anyway.
That’s kind of the whole point of why I share my life the way I do.
I’m not trying to convince anyone my life is perfect because it’s not. I’m not trying to be polished or fake. I’m just showing up exactly as I am in that moment and hoping it gives someone else permission to do the same. Because if we can’t laugh at ourselves once in a while… what are we even doing? 😂
My first client of the week kicked things off by looking at me and saying, “You can play with my demons, but leave them today.” 😂 I just laughed because honestly… only at my spa do people casually say things like that.
Then somewhere in the middle of the day I had one of those moments where everything suddenly made sense. I realized I’d been TWO WEEKS overdue for my vitamin D shot. 🤦🏼♀️ I had been wondering why I’d been a little shorter fused and more irritable lately, and apparently my body was just over here trying to wave a giant flag saying, “Excuse me… remember me?” Thankfully I got in right away and got it taken care of. Attitude adjustment loading. 😂
Of course, then my digestive system decided it was time to adapt, which meant approximately 47 bathroom trips before I had to hop in the car for an hour drive with a client. So there I am facing one of my biggest fears of riding with someone else while silently praying my stomach would cooperate. If you know… you know. 😂
And let’s not forget Mercury retrograde decided this was the perfect day to show up too. Somewhere in all of that I also realized I had left the wheel lock key for my tires with the guy who worked on my Range Rover. Because why wouldn’t I? 🤣
Monday night ended up being really special though. One of my clients who reads the iris of your eyes invited me to an olive oil presentation. The presentation itself was really interesting, but honestly the conversations were my favorite part. There is just something about finding people who are curious, open-minded, and love learning as much as you do. We bounced ideas back and forth for hours, learned from each other, and it reminded me that there really are people out there who think like I do.
Before we left she invited me to go to Salsa in the Park with her sometime, and I’ve always wanted to learn salsa dancing, so… why not? Life is too short not to say yes to new experiences.
The next day therapy was a doozy. We dug deep into everything surrounding the Fourth of July, and by the time I left I had a full-blown migraine. It was one of those sessions where you know a lot of healing happened because your whole body feels it afterward.
After therapy I met up with Klara and we went hiking. I absolutely loved that time together because we finally got to just talk outside of work. We bonded on a completely different level, talked business, dreams, and everything in between. Watching the light bulbs go off while explaining how building a business actually works reminded me how much I genuinely love mentoring people.
Then it was back to the spa where I had a two-hour massage with one of my clients who’s been with me since COVID. She’s watched me grow over the last six years, and somewhere in the middle of our conversation she said something that completely stopped me in my tracks.
Cultivating Agency.
The second she said it, everything clicked.
I’ve been trying to explain what 888 Spa is growing into, and those two words finally gave it a name.
I’m not just building a spa anymore.
I’m cultivating entrepreneurs in the healing field.
I love helping people build, rebuild, grow, and eventually become confident enough to stand completely on their own. I don’t want people to depend on me forever. I want to give them the tools, the confidence, the mentorship, and the support to someday fly on their own.
Honestly, if someone I mentor becomes even better than me someday…
That’s not a loss.
That’s the goal.
That conversation honestly lit a fire inside me because for the first time I could clearly see where this business is headed. 888 Spa isn’t just a spa anymore. It’s becoming a cultivating agency for new entrepreneurs in the healing fields, and that feels so aligned with who I’ve always been.
After that I finished my day with another one-hour massage, got confirmation that my tattoo appointment is this Friday, restarted laser hair removal, and holy cow… the technology has come a LONG way in six years. I kept waiting for it to hurt like my old treatments, and it honestly felt like a walk in the park compared to what I remembered.
So now I’m sitting here eating leftover pizza, relaxing for a little bit before taking Evan to work, and laughing at how much life can fit into just two days.
Healing… business… bathroom trips… migraines… salsa dancing… tattoos… vitamin D… Mercury retrograde… olive oil… hiking… laser hair removal… and yes… even camel toe. 😂
Somehow it all makes perfect sense in my world.
Life is weird.
Life is messy.
Life is beautiful.
And honestly…
I wouldn’t have it any other way. ❤️
