Spa Wins All The Way Around

Welp… Evan called me to pick him up from his first day of work at 5:15AM. Sleepy mom tossed in contacts and headed out the door, then came home and took a nap because I didn’t fall asleep until 1:40AM to begin with lol.

Did my glow routine with my morning vlog, then headed off to my office.

My first client was a few minutes late, so honestly it worked out great. I was able to toss laundry in the dryer, get the head spa all set up, and catch up on a few things. Then we made the next three appointments for her and her family so yeah… huge win.

Then I had a 90-minute with one of my regulars and we’ve officially been able to get to deeper layers of the onion, as I call it, and release more emotions.

Then my brother dropped off Miss Daffnie so in between clients I ran Sir Parker and Daffnie to get haircuts.

Headed back to my office for another massage and it was one of those sessions that just felt really good to do. Hard to explain, but you know when everything just flows? Then she asked if she could bring her daughter to see me and honestly that’s one of the best compliments.

Cleaned up and headed home.

I looked at my grand total for the day and I was absolutely blown away. Today was my highest day ever in service sales. Like ever ever.

I cannot even believe this is my real life sometimes. I thought a couple weeks ago was my highest day and this completely blew that out of the water.

My longest friend stopped by to see the dogs so I ordered everybody Chinese food and went to pick Parker and Daffnie up because they were ready to come back to me.

Then the groomer calls me while I’m driving and says, “I gotta tell you something, but I’ll still be here when you get here so I’ll talk to you then.”

Immediately my brain goes into full panic mode like WHAT HAPPENED.

I get there and she goes, “Daffnie was so wonderful to work with. She’s a groomer’s dream. I like her more than Parker.” 😂

I was dying.

Poor Parker hates having his face touched and she’s been his groomer for awhile now. Today was actually her first time working with Daffnie too.

Now I’m home, the dogs are playing, they’re so excited to have each other over the next couple of days, and I actually have tomorrow off.

Much needed self-care day because these eyebrows are starting to get disrespectful.
