The Art of Leveling Up: Patience, Plants, and 21 Years

The Art of Leveling Up: Patience, Plants, and 21 Years

There are days that feel like a whirlwind…

and then there are days that feel like a deep, collective exhale.

Today was the exhale.

It started before my alarm even had a chance to buzz—

shoutout to my new nighttime routine (the Sermorelin is clearly doing its thing ) for giving me that extra bit of early morning magic.

I had time for my glow routine, my social posts,

and of course… Parker got his morning yogurt ritual.

But the real theme of the day?

Growth.

Watching the Seeds Flourish

The energy in my space today was calm, steady… grounded.

I saw a client I’ve been working with for eight years—

eight years of sessions, life transitions, and evolution on both sides.

And today, instead of processing or releasing…

It was reflection.

She looked at me and said,

“You have leveled up… your calmness and peacefulness is a whole new world.”

And then my next client came in…

And he said something that made me pause for a second.

He reflected back to me that people are watching me…

that they’re growing just by being around me—

not because I’m telling them to,

but because of how I show up.

That kind of validation hits different.

Because it confirmed something I’ve been quietly noticing…

When you really do the work on yourself—

when you stay consistent, grounded, and aligned—

People feel it.

They see it.

And they start shifting too.

And today?

It was reflected back to me over and over again—

compliments on my energy, my growth, my hair, my skin…

And I just sat there like… wow.

Because this is what happens when you stop forcing

and start becoming.

You don’t have to say anything.

You become the proof.

The Support You Don’t Expect

And just when I thought the day couldn’t feel any more aligned…

I got the text.

The part I need for your car—

it’s been a straight mission to track down,

literally nowhere to be found in the entire state of Minnesota…

but I know it’s being handled.

He’s putting his time, effort, and energy

into one of my investments…

so I can keep showing up for my special needs clients.

And honestly…

I don’t even have the words for how that feels.

To be supported like that.

To be seen like that.

To have someone step in without hesitation

so I can continue doing what I’m meant to do…

That kind of support doesn’t go unnoticed.

The Milestone Moment

While my clients were reflecting back my growth,

life at home was hitting its own milestones.

We got the official word—Evan’s new worker starts March 31st,

and his next two semesters of college are locked in.

And then it hit me…

I will have a 21-year-old.

Holy shit. (Still keeping it)

Twenty-one years of watching my favorite human grow into a man.

Watching him step into his future…

while I sit here realizing how much I’ve grown right alongside him.

That kind of perspective…

It changes everything.

The Perfect Ending

I walked through the door this afternoon and saw a package waiting for me:

The Light Eaters by Zoë Schlanger.

A book about plant intelligence—

how nature communicates, adapts, and thrives in ways we don’t always see.

And honestly?

After a day like today—

one that showed me growth, reflection, support, and alignment…

This feels like the perfect way to close this chapter.

Because life really is a cycle—

Planting.

Nurturing.

Trusting.

And eventually…

Blooming.

But the day’s not over yet…

We’re heading out to celebrate Evan’s 21st—birthday dinner with friends,

With my friend I call mom lol.....YEAH
