Fit, Short Girl… Apparently I’m Rich Now?
Well… these last couple days have been a freaking adventure.
Yesterday started bright and early at 5:00 AM because I had to go pick Evan up from work. I came home, did my Glow Getter routine, recorded my morning vlog, then headed over to Grandma’s to pick my brother up so we could head to Stillwater for the K102 Country Cruise.
We had an absolute blast. Then later I was looking back through the pictures my brother and I took with Drew and all I could think was… holy crap… I really am tiny now. 😂 Like tiny all the way around. My head was only up to Drew’s armpit! I see myself every day, so I don’t really notice the changes, but those pictures definitely made me stop for a second. Sometimes it takes seeing yourself through someone else’s eyes to realize just how much has changed.
After the cruise I stopped at Milan because I’m officially restarting my laser hair removal treatments next week, and I am so excited. I actually did laser about six years ago after my dermatologist recommended it. I used to get ingrown hairs so bad they’d affect the muscles underneath, and I’d end up needing surgeries through my OBGYN just to get them removed. Thankfully those days are long behind me, and it’ll be nice to get everything touched up again.
After that I headed into the office, did a microneedling treatment on one of my girls, recorded the whole thing, got it uploaded to YouTube, went home, ate dinner… and I don’t even remember falling asleep. 😂 I was absolutely exhausted after Wednesday’s twelve-hour day and everything that followed Thursday. I literally passed out until it was time to bring Evan back to work.
Then today decided sleep was optional.
At 4:15 this morning Evan called for a ride home from work. By the time I got back it was after 5:30 before I could even lay down for a quick nap, and my first hands-on client started at 8:45.
Thank goodness today was NAD day because your girl was running on fumes.
I still got my Glow Getter routine done, but everything else got pushed back. I didn’t even have time to write yesterday’s Weird Shit Blog, which is exactly why you’re getting two days wrapped into one tonight. 😂 My morning vlog didn’t get uploaded until later either. Sometimes life just says, “Yeah… we’re not following the schedule today.”
Then it was three clients at the office, packed everything up, headed over to one of my special needs clients’ houses, and wrapped up the night with dinner with a friend.
Now here’s where life got weird again…
Somebody called me a fit short girl.
I’ll take that compliment. 😂
Then someone else assumed I was rich because I drive a baby Range Rover and carry a fake Louis Vuitton purse.
I laughed so hard.
I said what I said.
It’s funny how people create an entire story in their heads from what they see on the outside. They don’t see the years of healing, rebuilding, sacrificing, working my butt off, or all the mornings that start before the sun comes up. They just see a little SUV and a purse.
Meanwhile I’m over here trying to stay awake, grow a business, take care of amazing clients, pick Evan up at four in the morning, remember to upload my vlog, and somehow still make time to enjoy life.
Life’s been a little chaotic lately…
But honestly, I kind of love this season of life. ❤️
