Vibe Check: When Your Biohacking Finally Biohacks You
Buckle up, because today was a ride.
If you aren’t out here UV-sanitizing your own furniture, are you even trying?
Let’s track today’s weird shit:
Woke up and immediately leaned into the glow.
- Glow Getter capsules:
- Hydration:
- The Plant Shuffle: relocated my plant children out of the bedroom
(Side note: I UV-sanitized the living room last night, so the foliage had to go before the space turned full Chernobyl. Priorities.)
Then it was time for the lab.
Grabbed my trusty mason jar, mixed up Steps Two, Three, and Four, and gave it a solid shake. These have been part of my daily routine lately—supporting my energy, hydration, and overall glow. And Step Three? My hair and skin have definitely been showing off a little more these days. The glow is real.
Quick shower, and I was out the door by 8:30 AM.
First client: a 90-minute session with vacuum cupping.
Tell me why something that feels slightly unhinged also feels so good?
It’s that perfect balance of, “What is happening?” and “I am a brand new human.”
Quick turnaround after that—laundry duty… and the real-life observation.
I ran home to see Evan. Today was his second B peptide injection.
Now to keep this grounded—I’m simply observing and supporting consistency with his routine.
But last night he looks at me and says,
“Mom, I feel happier, I have more energy… and I’m getting the dishes done.”
Pause.
He’ll be 21 next week… so this hits even harder
If anything in this world motivates a 21-year-old to voluntarily do dishes… we take note.
We’ll just call it a notable observation and leave it at that.
Back to work.
My next client brought her daughter along (no school), and instead of chaos… it turned into one of those moments you can’t plan.
While I worked on mom for an hour, everything just… flowed.
And then at the end—without trying, without forcing it—the daughter put the puzzle together.
Not in a literal sense… just one of those weird, unspoken moments where everything clicks into place.
The kind you don’t question—you just notice.
Later, I had a returning client I hadn’t seen in two years.
That session? Beautiful.
We unlocked new sensations in her body, which led to a deep emotional release. And that right there—that safe exhale—that’s the work that matters most to me.
Quick stop home to check on Evan.
Surprise: one of his workers is at the house.
Not on the shared calendar.
Because of course… why would it be?
Enter: Truth-Speaking Mom.
But here’s the growth—his workers have adjusted to my direct communication. They don’t take it personally anymore… they respect it.
And more importantly—Evan is learning to show up the same way.
Owning it. Communicating it.
Real and authentic.
Then I headed out to see one of my special needs clients.
Minnesota spring did what Minnesota spring does—
Warmed up just enough to trick me into cracking the window…
…and then dropped to a casual 18 degrees.
And with no heat in my car… I fully committed to the experience
By the time I got home, I was frozen.
I needed that shower immediately.
But instead? ADHD kicked in.
I started responding to client texts and DMs—because apparently, my comfort comes last sometimes.
And that’s when Evan yelled at me:
“Mom, take care of yourself first. If you don’t warm up, you can’t take care of anyone.”
…sir.
Why are you using my own teachings against me?
The Conclusion: Not So Crazy After All
I love this life we’ve created.
Yes, it might look “weird” from the outside—UV lights, mason jar mixtures, vacuum cups, structured routines…
But when your kid starts reflecting your own wisdom back to you?
Those are the moments that hit.
Maybe I’m not crazy after all.
Or maybe we both are.
Either way… it’s working.
And now… I’m ending the night exactly where I need to be—going to see a special friend and finally slowing it all down.
